Own Your Content
I’m fed up with digital subscriptions. I prefer buying movies, tv shows and video games to share with my loved ones like the good old days.
I find the experience of owning my content again to be very liberating. I can watch whatever I like and not worry about my content disappearing due to expired licensing agreements.
This applies to video games too. I can play them without creating an account that Nintendo will eventually shut down. The downside is that most indie games are only available online.
I’m quite happy with my decision despite this limitation. My collection is minimal by design to avoid stressing out about what to watch and what to play.
